Biography[]
French Ambassador Nicholas Chaput, the Undersecretary of the United Nations, became the acting Secretary-General after the assassination of Secretary General Chartwell until an election cold be held. Chaput is the leader of the very right-wing French Partie Nationale D'Identite and recently caused France to secede from the European Union. He was also been the champion of underdeveloped industrialized nations which make up a majority of the UN.[1]
Chaput was the target of an assassination attempt, possibly orchestrated by AeroTech and Ambassador Diane Hayden, during the days leading up to the election. He lost the election to Hayden, who became the next Secretary-General.
