The episode aired November 19, 1995 on the Fox Network.

The USS SARATOGA captures a Chig bomber and McQueen suggests that they use the vessel as a Trojan Horse. The plan is to attack the aliens' homeworld in order to raise troop morale - a plan that goes horribly wrong.

Summary[]

During an attack by the Chigs, the USS SARATOGA captures an alien bomber but before the Navy scientists can examine the craft, AeroTech takes over, led by the mysterious Howard Sewell. After several discussions, the Wild Cards are able to examine the spacecraft and they realize that AeroTech has taken away and deleted important data from the ship's computer system. McQueen persuades Commodore Ross to use the bomber as a Trojan Horse[1] and the 58th squadron familiarize themselves with operating the Chig spacecraft.

Cooper and Nathan find out that the ship is operated by use of bio-electrical energy. The Wild Cards are chosen to fly a counterattack against the aliens.

When the window for their departure closes earlier than expected, Paul and the others have doubts if they should take part on this mission. Shane retreats to the hangar deck where she is found by Cooper. She tells him that she has always loved those clear November mornings and that she will take part on this mission so that someone on Earth can still experience these special, magical sunrises. Cooper listens quietly and he in turn tells her that he had never known any family and the only family he ever had are the Wild Cards. If his friends are gone then he will be alone again and he cannot bear this ever again and Shane comforts him.

Nathan decides to save his nail clippings in case he will die on this mission so hat his parents are able to bury something of himself. Vanessa asks him to put her nail clippings alongside his own and it is clear that they have made up their minds: they accompany McQueen on the mission. Commodore Ross doubts the successful outcome of the mission but nevertheless he gives his okay.

At first, the mission is uneventful and they pass several Chig scouts unharmed and unnoticed but when they attack the home planet of the aliens, the bomber is destroyed. The Marines have to use a rescue pod and crash-land on the moon Kazbek, a satellite of the Chig home planet.
